If you went a little too hard on Cinco De Mayo and you can still hear the drums pounding in your head… we’ve got The Cure… well not literally, but CHEEBAs debut Mehji project will be hitting us this summer.
Yesterday I went into the studio with musical big man 117 Spade, along with Captain Thriller, Vuski, and our personal favorite producer, the OG Joe MPC… here’s what was spoken… in not so many words.
117 Spade continues to solidify his status as the Pope. Spade is easily one of my favorite artists out outside of music. The music he pushes you can hear Spade constantly playing with his sound, trying to push himself as an artist. Although, he’s more than capable of producing a single he prefers to work on projects. Spade is also one of the most selfless people I know. Constantly, he inspires others around him to better themselves. So why is he the Pope? Well just like Catholics, if you ain’t-a Mehji, you aren’t going to see the Pope more than a couple of times a year…. but you’ll definitely know he’s there.
Speaking of playing with sounds too, Joe MPC, one of the lead characters of our upcoming show JK and also a producer I like to think of as a staple in Mehji Ent is back to work. If you are a rapper yourself. The Mehjis act quickly on making music soooo if Joe puts something out you might want to hop on it…

Besides we still Captain Kovu, the man of many hats. He recently started a challenge to make 200 songs to build his catalog.

Well, he is Cap so there’s no way he’s not succeeding. Especially with the support of his camp. 200 songs is a daunting task. And at song 27 Vuski is already starting to feel it. The music though is amazing!!!
